I was walking the streets trying to think that this is my home. That between these blocks of flats there’s a life going on I belong to and wash my hands of at the same time. When someone approached me and asked for a cigarette, I was prepared to turn the other cheek. And when they wanted money and I was ready to give my mobile too, they said I was fucking crazy and I got a blow in the face. From then on I avoided taking initiative.

When I saw a boy dying on stairs, stabbed with knives, I understood the graffiti on the walls in a different way. Thanks to that I was taught what the difference between the football clubs of Wisła and Cracovia consists in and you have to know that to survive here. Maybe I’m too old for all that. I take threats seriously. Lately I’ve found written on my door that I already should start to wrinkle otherwise I wouldn’t have enough time to do so. And it said there that if I happened to see or breath a word about anything, they would burn my house. House. Exactly… home. Is it my home?
