Poems on the walls2 Bracka Street
This spectacular poetry campaign in the centre of Krakow has been carried out for over 10 years now. The project began on the 24th of October 2002 with the original campaign entitled 366 Poems in 365 Days. All year round, day after day, projections of Michał Zabłocki’s successive 366 poems in Polish and English appeared in the most popular tourist spots of Krakow and Warsaw, on the facades of two prominent buildings. This was the world premiere of a regular poetry book on a wall. In Krakow, Poems on the Walls settled in for good, and after eight years, this original campaign transformed into a national, and even an international one.
